TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Cath Lab RN in Kankakee, Illinois, 60901!

Job Title: Cath Lab RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 4 days Hours per Shift: 9 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Must have state license in hand Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: EPIC experience, ability to float among various procedures, preferred TAVR experience, local placements accepted within specified distance Description: The position requires working four 9-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with call and rotating holiday call. Candidates must possess EPIC experience and a valid state license. Local placements are accepted if residing within specified distance from the facility. There are five labs including three cardiac catheterization labs, one interventional radiology lab, and one electrophysiology lab. On average, there are 10-12 cases per day. Candidates should be able to circulate, sedate, and monitor patients, with scrubbing not required. Experience in TAVR is highly preferred, while a minimum of 2 years in the field is necessary. Previous travel experience is highly preferred. Familiarity with common diagnoses such as TAVR, Watchman, diagnostic procedures, and various interventions is essential. Charting is done using the EPIC system. The role includes call responsibilities, with a response time of 30 minutes required. Unit specific orientation will take place for one week.
