Job Title: Quality Test Technician
Location: Holdrege, NE
Pay: $17.50/hour (increase upon hire-on)
Shift: 1st Shift - Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:45 PM
Overtime: Fridays as needed
Job Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire

Position Overview

We are hiring a detail-oriented Quality Test Technician to support production by ensuring finished products meet established quality standards. This role plays a key part in monitoring processes, identifying defects and helping drive continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor daily adherence to quality standards and procedures
• Perform audits of finished products
• Identify and investigate root causes of assembly defects
• Initiate and support corrective action processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues
• Assist in maintaining and improving quality control processes
• Complete documentation and reports accurately
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications & Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Basic reading, writing, math and computer skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate effectively and work with a team
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Physical Requirements

• Light to moderate physical activity
• Occasional lifting up to 25-50 pounds
• Frequent bending, reaching and movement throughout shift
• Ability to stand and/or move for 8-12 hour shifts

Work Environment

• Steel-toe boots required
• Manufacturing setting with generally good working conditions
