Job Description
East Ridge Village is seeking a dedicated and compassionate On-Call Respiratory Therapist (RT) to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to expand your skills and make a significant impact on the lives of our residents.
Qualifications:
Current and valid RT license in the state of FL.
Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a respiratory, critical care, or long-term care setting.
Excellent clinical skills with a focus on respiratory care
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
Responsibilities:
Manage and care for patients with respiratory needs, including airway management
Provide high-quality respiratory care to residents, following established protocols and standards.
Manage and maintain airways, including tracheostomy care
Monitor and document residents' respiratory status and progress
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care
Educate residents and families on respiratory conditions and care techniques
Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
