Job Opportunity – CVOR Surgical Nurse – Georgia

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Weekend-only position (Friday-Sunday or Saturday-Monday option). Call requirement includes typically one weekday per week and one weekend every 5-6 weeks. Assignment end date options include January 16, January 30, or February 13. This position specifically addresses winter holiday coverage needs.

Highlights:

• Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) experience with a diverse case mix including CABG, valve replacements, TAVR, LVAD/RVAD, thoracic and vascular procedures
• Epic charting system utilized
• Patient ratio of 1:1 for optimal care delivery
• First-time travelers accepted with minimum 2 years of experience
• Trauma-level facility experience preferred
• Holiday coverage required as part of assignment structure

Requirements:

• Active Georgia or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Proficiency in cardiovascular, thoracic, and vascular surgical procedures including scrubbing capabilities
• Community hospital and trauma center experience preferred
• Full compliance documentation required prior to start date
• All time-off requests must be finalized at time of submission (maximum 7 days per contract)
