Position Summary/Purpose:


We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Surgical Technologist to join our esteemed medical team. As a vital member of the surgical staff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of surgical procedures and the well-being of our patients.

In this position, you will be responsible for preparing and organizing the operating room, ensuring all necessary instruments and supplies are sterile and available. You will assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments and supplies, maintaining a sterile environment, and anticipating the needs of the surgical team. Your meticulous attention to detail and ability to work under pressure will contribute to the smooth and efficient flow of surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms and ensure the sterilization of all surgical instruments and equipment.
• Assist in the positioning and draping of patients for surgery.
• Provide essential support to surgeons during operations by passing instruments and supplies.
• Maintain a sterile field to ensure patient safety and prevent infections.
• Monitor and manage surgical inventory, ensuring the availability of necessary supplies.
• Collaborate closely with the surgical team to anticipate and meet their needs.
• Adhere to strict safety and infection control protocols.

Qualifications:

• Certification / Licensure:
  • Colorado Surgical Technologist license, or ability to obtain prior to start date
  • BLS certification
