It Help Desk Technician, Level 1

Delta Field Services is hiring a Level 1 Helpdesk Technician to be the first point of contact for our employees, both in the office and in the field. You'll fix everyday tech problems, keep accounts and devices secure, and pass bigger issues to senior IT staff with clear notes. This is an entry-level role for someone who likes solving problems and wants to build an IT career.

What You'll Do

• Troubleshoot Windows 11, Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint), printers, basic network connectivity and VPN
• Support mobile devices (iOS/Android) and laptops used by field staff, including remote troubleshooting through NinjaOne
• Enroll, set up and deploy laptops, phones and peripherals using NinjaOne
• Use NinjaOne to watch device health, push patches and software, and act on alerts
• Manage user accounts in Active Directory / Entra ID: password resets, MFA setup, group memberships and access requests
• Help with onboarding and offboarding, including device setup, account creation and returning equipment
• Spot and report possible security problems, such as phishing, suspicious logins or lost devices, and follow our security procedures
• Send unresolved issues to Level 2/3 with full details of what you've already tried
• Write and update knowledge base articles and user how-to guides
• Keep an accurate inventory of hardware and assets

• Working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft 365
• The ability to explain technical things in plain language to people who aren't technical
• A patient, customer-first attitude, especially with frustrated users
• Organized, and able to keep good notes and handle several tickets at once
