Medical-Surgical Unit Nursing Assistant4-Medical is a 27-bed inpatient medical-surgical unit that cares for a diverse patient population, with a focus on gastrointestinal illnesses and diabetes management. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate nursing assistant who is passionate about patient-centered care and eager to join a collaborative healthcare team that includes Registered Nurses (RNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and Nurse Externs. The ideal candidate is committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care in a fast-paced environment where teamwork and clinical excellence are valued every day.ResponsibilitiesProvides direct patient care while working under the supervision of a Nursing Supervisor utilizing skills as outlined in the scope of practice by the Department of Human Services Division of Facility Services or NC Board of Nursing.QualificationsHigh School diploma or GED requiredCurrent Nursing Assistant Level I certification (if applying as NAII must be current) requiredCurrent American Heart Association BCLS (CPR) requiredStrong critical thinking and communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentAble to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays
