Job Title: Repack Clerk
Location: Des Moines, IA

The Repack Clerk is responsible for repackaging bulk food items into various pack sizes while ensuring accurate labeling, quality control, and adherence to food safety standards. Your role involves maintaining cleanliness in the repackaging area, inspecting products for defects, and collaborating with team members to meet production goals. You will also assist with inventory management, reworking bulk and case freight as needed, and following all safety protocols.

Pay: $18 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday
• 8 AM to 4:30 PM

What we look for:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred with 2 years of experience with similar responsibilities
• Ability to work independently with a team setting
• Must be detailed oriented and have a positive attitude
• Must possess excellent oral and written communications skills
• HACCP training and a technical skill set is desired
• Provide prompt, courteous and excellent service to all customers, internal and external
• Actively cooperate and interact with all entities of the company

What you’ll do:

• Repackage bulk food items into different pack sizes according to company standards and specifications
• Ensure accurate labeling and count on all repackaged products
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the repackaging area to meet food safety standards
• Inspect products for quality defects and report any issues to the manager
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries
• Assist with inventory management by accurately recording repackaged products
• Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production goals and deadlines
• Perform other duties as assigned by the manager
• Other Duties to include reworking bulk and case freight as needed
