Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) - Day Shift Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule 4x10 Days, Monday thru Friday, 07:00 - 17:30. Flexible scheduling available. Job Description The Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in the surgical setting. This position requires strong experience, particularly in orthopedic and gynecological cases. The OR operates similarly to an ASC, with a focus on general OR procedures including abdominal, orthopedic, gynecological, urology, and plastic surgeries. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in the operating room setting. Assist with orthopedic and gynecologic procedures. Ensure a sterile environment and adherence to safety protocols. Monitor patient vitals and respond to changes in patient conditions. Collaborate with surgical and medical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure 2 years of strong relevant experience required. Active RN license in Maryland or compact license. BLS and ACLS certifications are required; CNOR and NIHSS are preferred. Proficiency in the following skills is preferred: Abdominal/Vaginal hysterectomy Anterior Cruciate Ligament Reconstruction Laparoscopic procedures Robotic surgeries Why ARMStaffing?
