Family Practice - Without OB Physician

Position: NNP Location: Reading, PA

Position Details:

• Manage a daily patient panel in a Level IV NICU.
• Perform patient assessments, physical exams, and develop treatment plans.
• Participate in sign-out, multidisciplinary rounds, and daily patient management.
• Complete daily progress notes, discharge summaries, and EMR documentation.
• Update and educate families regarding patient care.
• Perform neonatal procedures including:
  • PICC placement
  • UVC/UAC placement
  • Chest tube insertion
  • Lumbar punctures
  • Endotracheal intubation
• Attend high-risk deliveries and admit newborns.
• Complete admissions, history & physicals, and admission orders.
• Respond to NICU code blues and OB trauma activations. Accompany patients during transports for imaging and procedures.
• Participate in ground and air neonatal transports.
• Attend family meetings as needed.
