Ur Medicine Finger Lakes Health seeks per diem MRI techs to join our team! Per diem positions on day shift - weekend availability required!
Responsibility summary:
Performs technical MRI assignments. Exercises complex skill, judgement and knowledge of the principles and methods of magnetic resonance imaging. Performs diagnostic MRI studies as requested. Performs infection control according to universal precautions. MRI technologist shall have the ability to provide care to infant, pediatric, adult and geriatric patients.
Education:
Minimum: A.A.S. degree in radiologic technology.
Preferred: Formal MRI training
Experience:
Minimum: Radiology technology program (AMA approved 2-year program). Previous experience in diagnostic radiology.
Preferred: 1-2 years experience in related radiology fields, with MRI experience
License/certification:
License required: NYS license, certification as a radiologic, nuclear medicine or ultrasound technologist
Certifications preferred: Formal MRI-specific training
Salary range: $42.50 - $48.85
