Technical Product Manager --- Workday & Enterprise Support Location: NYC (3 Days work from office) Duration: 6 months Healthcare Domain Role Overview We are looking for a Product Manager for Workday & Enterprise Shared Services to lead product planning, prioritization, and delivery for Workday-related initiatives and other enterprise shared services platforms This role will serve as the product manager for Workday-enabled business capabilities across HR, Finance, Payroll, Procurement, Workforce Planning, Reporting, and related corporate functions . The role will also support broader enterprise shared services needs where business processes span multiple departments, systems, vendors, and technology teams. The ideal candidate should understand how enterprise platforms support business operations, employee lifecycle processes, financial operations, workforce planning, approvals, reporting, compliance, and operational efficiency. This role requires strong product management skills, comfort working with technical and business teams, and the ability to translate business needs into scalable, well-governed solutions. This position will partner closely with HR, Finance, Payroll, Procurement, IT/SciTech, Security, Compliance, Legal, Operations, and external vendors to shape priorities, manage the roadmap, support implementation, and drive measurable business value. Key Responsibilities Own and manage the product roadmap for Workday and Enterprise Shared Services capabilities. Partner with HR, Finance, Payroll, Procurement, Legal, Compliance, Operations, and SciTech stakeholders to understand business needs, pain points, priorities, and desired outcomes. Lead discovery for Workday and shared services requests, including problem definition, workflow review, scope clarification, value assessment, and prioritization. Translate business needs into product briefs, epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and requirements handoff artifacts. Prioritize enhancements, configuration changes, integrations, reporting needs, and process improvements based on business value, risk, compliance impact, feasibility, and capacity. Partner with Workday SMEs, HRIS, Finance Systems, IT, Security, and integration teams to assess solution options and implementation approach. Support Workday-related initiatives across HCM, Finance, Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting, Compensation, Time Tracking, Absence, Procurement, Expenses, Workforce Planning, and Reporting. Manage enterprise shared services initiatives that may involve multiple platforms, vendors, integrations, approvals, workflows, and business functions. Collaborate with technical teams on Workday integrations, APIs, Core Connectors, data loads, reporting, downstream data consumption, and enterprise system dependencies. Define and maintain product documentation, process flows, configuration decisions, release notes, decision logs, and support materials. Manage Workday release planning, feature evaluation, regression testing coordination, adoption planning, and post-release optimization. Ensure solutions align with healthcare privacy, security, audit, compliance, and access governance expectations. Partner with Security and Compliance teams on Workday roles, permissions, segregation of duties, audit controls, and access-related risks. Lead stakeholder demos, backlog refinement, prioritization sessions, sprint reviews, UAT planning, and executive updates. Identify process improvement opportunities and drive automation, standardization, simplification, and operational efficiency. Manage vendor partners, Workday consultants, implementation partners, and internal delivery teams as needed. Track adoption, operational impact, user feedback, and value realization after launch. Required Qualifications 5 years of experience in product management, enterprise applications, HRIS, finance systems, business systems delivery, or technology-enabled business transformation. 3 years of Workday experience or equivalent experience supporting large enterprise HR, Finance, or ERP platforms. Experience leading Workday or enterprise application initiatives from discovery through implementation, testing, deployment, and optimization. Strong understanding of HR processes such as employee lifecycle, recruiting, onboarding, compensation, benefits, payroll, time tracking, absence, and workforce management. Strong understanding of Finance and shared services processes such as accounting, procurement, expenses, budgeting, cost centers, approvals, financial reporting, and operational controls. Experience gathering requirements, designing business processes, writing user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and managing product backlogs. Experience working with integrations, reporting, security roles, access controls, business process configuration, and enterprise data flows. Ability to partner effectively with business stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, Security, Compliance, and executive leadership. Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex topics for business and leadership audiences. Experience working in Agile, hybrid, or enterprise delivery environments. Ability to manage multiple priorities, dependencies, risks, timelines, and stakeholder expectations. Preferred Qualifications Healthcare industry experience or experience in a highly regulated environment. Workday certification or formal Workday training. Experience with Workday HCM, Workday Finance, Workday Adaptive Planning, or Workday integrations. Experience supporting healthcare organizations, health systems, payers, providers, home care, hospice, or healthcare services companies. Experience managing Workday releases, tenant refreshes, regression testing, production support, and feature adoption. Experience with workforce transformation, shared services transformation, finance transformation, ERP modernization, or enterprise platform governance. Experience with reporting, analytics, dashboard requirements, and data governance for enterprise shared services. Experience managing vendor relationships and implementation partners. #J-18808-Ljbffr
