Position Details Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Specialist (Camden, TX) Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSun 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM How This Role Works: Fixed‑Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six‑month commitment. Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week—always with the option to scale back when needed. Responsibilities Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following site‑specific access control procedures, screening entry requests, and supporting security‑related protocols at the location. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, badges, and/or visitor authorizations, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted production, warehouse, and/or administrative areas. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points, with attention to security‑related concerns that may arise in a manufacturing and industrial environment. Document daily activities, access‑related events, and unusual conditions, and assist with visitor logs, delivery coordination, and/or vehicle access procedures in accordance with site policies. Minimum Requirements Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
