Parts Counter Apprentice

Performance Kings Honda is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our Parts Department as an Parts Counter Apprentice. This is a great opportunity to launch your career in automotive parts and customer service with a team dedicated to training and internal promotion.

This is a hands-on, entry-level position for individuals eager to learn all aspects of the automotive parts business. You will start by learning the fundamentals of our inventory process and progress toward a customer-facing role at the parts counter.

Starting Pay $16.50 to $18.50. Higher wage or commission possible with parts counter experience.

Monday Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Off Saturday and Sunday! Full-time position.

Key responsibilities include unloading delivery trucks and accurately receiving shipments, organizing and putting away inventory in proper locations, learning and following safety procedures and inventory best practices, assisting with driving and delivering parts to customers and service departments, supporting the parts team in day-to-day operations, progressively taking on more responsibility, working up to the parts counter, and eventually assisting customers and technicians with parts inquiries and orders.

We're looking for a positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn, strong attention to detail and organization, valid driver's license and clean driving record, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, good communication skills and a team player. Interest in automotive parts and service is a plus. Performance Kings Honda is a drug-free workplace.
