Schedule:

• Day shift (Friday, Saturday, and one variable weekday)

Responsibilities:

• Deliver evidence-based nursing care to critically ill neonates with complex surgical and medical diagnoses, such as CDH, MAS, NEC, TEF/EA, abdominal wall defects, BPD, and pulmonary hypertension.
• Coordinate and implement care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams for pre, peri, and post-operative patients.
• Maintain best practices and strict safety protocols in a high-acuity, fast-paced Level IV NICU.
• Accurately document patient information and respond swiftly to changes in condition.
• Mentor and support colleagues by sharing expertise and fostering a positive work environment.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license with Level IV/surgical NICU experience required.
• PALS certification required; NRP preferred.
• Experience caring for neonates with the diagnoses listed above is highly desirable.
• Able to pass nicotine and drug screenings; nicotine-free and flu vaccine compliance required (no exceptions).
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and adaptability skills.
