Job Title: Home Health Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Home Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 16:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Valid state license required Certifications: AHA and Red Cross certifications accepted Must-Have: - Minimum 2 years experience required - Ability to perform admissions and complete Oasis assessments - Weekend rotation required as needed - Travelers located within 50 miles will receive a rate decrease Description: The Home Health Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients in their homes. Six visits per day are expected, with shifts scheduled Monday through Friday. No call or float requirements are associated with this position. The registered nurse will be required to manage and assess various patient needs, including medication administration and wound care. Skills in clinical assessment documentation and infection control precautions are essential. The role also includes responsibilities such as nutritional assessment, phlebotomy, and pressure ulcer management. Travelers must not have previously worked for any associated facilities. References are required for submission. All nurses must have a valid state license. Background checks and drug screens will be conducted. This position is essential for delivering quality care and improving patient outcomes in the home health setting.
