Lead Maintenance Technician - Rancho Cordova

Position Overview We seek a skilled and versatile Multi-Trade Maintenance Technician to perform a variety of maintenance, installation, and repair tasks across commercial properties. Your expertise in HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems will ensure that all building systems operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with local codes and safety regulations. This is an onsite position, 5 days per week in our Rancho Cordova office. Key Responsibilities Support overall operation and maintenance of critical infrastructure (electrical, fire suppression, HVAC equipment) for two data centers and other critical spaces. Manage BMS alerts and notifications for critical infrastructure systems. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of fire suppression, electrical power systems, UPS, and generators. Carry out finish carpentry, painting, flooring, and door repairs. Install modular furniture systems. Ensure vendor performance meets contractual and quality requirements. Build relationships with facilities operations and maintenance teams. Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, inspections, and permits. Accurately log completed work and materials used. Follow all safety policies and champion a safety‑first mindset. Be available for occasional weekend projects and on‑call emergencies. Qualifications & Experience 6‑8+ years of experience in HVAC, electrical, and plumbing maintenance. Knowledge of air conditioning, refrigeration, electrical circuits, and plumbing principles. Certifications such as EPA Section 608 for refrigerants or Journeyman license (highly valued). Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams. Strong problem‑solving, communication, and customer service skills. Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work in varied conditions. Valid driver’s license with a clean record. Participate in on‑call rotation.
