Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant Location: Winterset, IA Setting: Outpatient Clinic Schedule: Full-Time and/or Part-Time | 20–40 hours per week, flexible Pay Range: $27.00–$35.75 per hour, based on experience Job Overview We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join an outpatient therapy team in Winterset, Iowa . This position is ideal for a PTA who enjoys working in a patient-focused outpatient setting, values flexible scheduling, and wants to be part of a therapist-owned and therapist-managed organization. The team provides individualized therapy services and focuses on strong communication, patient-centered treatment plans, and helping patients reach their functional goals. Responsibilities Assist the supervising Physical Therapist with patient care and treatment plans. Provide direct treatment to patients according to the established plan of care. Collect assessment data as directed by the Physical Therapist. Assist with patient screens under the direction of the supervising therapist. Educate and train patients, caregivers, and families based on the care plan. Participate in the clinical team process and support therapy program development. Prepare treatment materials and assist with documentation or clerical duties as needed. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the therapy team. Qualifications Associate's Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an APTA-accredited program. Active Iowa PTA license or eligibility for licensure. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Good time management, organization, and analytical skills. Ability to work collaboratively with therapists, patients, caregivers, and clinical staff.
