Adjunct Instructor, School of Music (Multiple Positions) University of Arizona – Tucson, AZ, USA. Full‑time, part‑time (19–34 hours per week). Target hire date August 17, 2026. Position Highlights The University of Arizona School of Music is accepting applications for a Cello Instructor and a Saxophone Instructor for the Fall Semester 2026. Opportunity to work with undergraduate and graduate students in cello or saxophone performance, music education, and Bachelor of Arts in Music majors, music minors, and non‑majors in applied lessons, studio class, and chamber music. Duties & Responsibilities Instruct in field of expertise: Cello/Saxophone lessons, studio class, and chamber ensembles. Hold regular office hours. Assign grades based on performance in class assignments and exams/juries. Attend meetings as required. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Master's degree in Cello/Saxophone Performance or relevant field. Minimum of 3 years' experience teaching in the public or private school system and working with individual students. Preferred Qualifications Doctoral degree in music, emphasis in cello/saxophone performance or similar. Other Information Compensation: $45,000 per course, exempt under FLSA.
