Specimen Processor ILabcorp is seeking a Specimen Processor I to join our team in Tupelo, MS.Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 5:00pm – 10:30pmJob Responsibilities:Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testingUnpack and route specimens to their respective staging areasAccurately identify and label specimensPack and ship specimens to proper testing facilitiesMeet department activity and production goalsProperly prepare and store excess specimen samplesData entry of patient information in an accurate and timely mannerResolve and document any problem specimensMinimum Qualifications:High School diploma or GED or equivalentPreferred Qualifications:1 year or more experience in lab, accessioning, production, manufacturing, or warehouseAdditional Job Standards:Comfortable handling biological specimensAbility to accurately identify specimensExperience working in a team environmentStrong data entry and organizational skillsHigh level of attention to detailExperience with MS OfficeAble to lift up to 40lbs.Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.Are you organized, accountable, and have always gone the extra mile to make sure things are done right?
