\n Merit Health Wesley is seeking a Daytime Hospitalist Physician to join our collaborative inpatient care team. Position Highlights\n

• Schedule: 7-on / 7-off
\n
• Shift Length: 12-hour daytime shifts
\n
• Compensation: $160/hour
\n
• Hospital-employed position
\n
• Fast-paced, collaborative hospital environment
\n

Responsibilities\n

\n
• Provide comprehensive inpatient care for hospitalized patients
\n
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
\n
• Perform hospital-based procedures including: \n
  \n
  • Central lines
  \n
  • Intubations
  \n
  • Codes and emergency response procedures
  \n
\n
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, specialists, and ancillary teams
\n
• Ensure timely documentation and effective patient care coordination
\n
• Adhere to hospital quality, safety, and clinical protocols
\n

Qualifications\n

\n
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
\n
• Current Mississippi medical license or eligibility for licensure
\n
• Comfortable performing hospital-based procedures
\n
• Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical decision-making skills
\n
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced inpatient setting
\n
