This position entails supporting mechanical and construction projects through various tasks, including but not limited to the installation of hydronic piping systems, selection and fitting of valves and controls, pressure testing, troubleshooting and repair, and routine maintenance. The pipefitter will also support project teams by interpreting technical drawings, collaborating with other trades, and ensuring compliance with all safety protocols. This position is located in Northwest Florida and will report to our Holt, FL office Essential Duties & Responsibilities Installation: Installing hydronic piping systems according to blueprints, specifications, and building codes Pipe Fitting: Selecting and installing appropriate pipe fittings, valves, and controls to regulate fluid flow System Testing: Conducting pressure tests and inspections to verify the integrity of the installed systems Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnosing issues, developing solutions, and performing repairs on existing systems Maintenance: Performing routine maintenance tasks to ensure the optimal performance of hydronic systems Collaboration: Working with other trades and professionals on construction and maintenance projects Safety: Adhering to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment Minimum Qualifications 10 years of experience with hydronic piping layout and fabrication Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics Ability to diagnose and resolve problems in hydronic systems Ability to effectively communicate with colleagues, clients, and other professionals Preferred Qualifications HVAC piping experience Boiler experience Knowledge of chillers Additional Qualifying Factors As a condition of employment, you will be required to pass a pre‑employment drug screening (post accepted offer) and have acceptable background check results. Must always maintain a constant state of mental alertness. Working Conditions Job is performed in a combination of office and outdoor site locations. The office setting includes exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, and mouse. Outdoor settings include walking, driving, and carrying supplies throughout all seasons with exposure to heat and cold conditions, and potentially wildlife. Is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals and loud noise.
