Medical Assistants are essential members of the clinic team. They contribute to the healthcare of patients by assisting with exams and procedures, organizing and managing patient flow, and taking on other responsibilities based on the needs of the department. Incumbents will be utilized in different units within the MAC (Moffitt Ambulatory Center) to ensure quality patient care and appropriate staffing needs are met. They will rotate to different units within the MAC (Moffitt Ambulatory Center) in all assigned outpatient clinics or other designated patient care areas. Must commit to traveling to various Moffitt Cancer Center campuses (Moffitt Ambulatory Centers & Moffitt Clinics), as needed.

• National Center for Competency Testing (NCMA-Nationally Certified Medical Assistant)
• National Healthcareer Association (CCMA-Certified Clinical Medical Assistant)
• National Association for Health Professionals (NRCMA-Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant)

Salary Range: $27.00 - $27.00
