Mobile Associate - Retail Sales Join T‑Mobile as a Mobile Associate and help bring the brand to life in a fast‑paced retail environment. This learning role prepares you for future growth as a Mobile Expert and requires successful completion of new employee training. Job Overview Mobile Associates work as part of a Retail Team of Experts to build excitement around T‑Mobile products and services. They serve as brand ambassadors, providing world‑class customer experiences, uncovering customer needs, and recommending solutions. The role involves helping customers continue their shopping journey, demonstrating technology, using digital tools, resolving issues with peers, and supporting team initiatives. Job Responsibilities Build proficiency in serving and selling, providing a world‑class customer experience and building loyalty. Help customers resume their shopping journey, whether online, through Customer Care, or in‑store. Explore individual needs and provide hands‑on demonstrations of the latest technology. Assist customers in finding personalized solutions beyond basic plans, including accessories and IoT devices. Approach service and sales needs with composure, integrity and compassion. Consistently use digital tools to demonstrate coverage, T‑Mobile plans, and unlimited value. Complete training on T‑Mobile in‑store experience, systems and reference resources. Make the most of shift time by seeking information and learning about innovations. Partner with T‑Mobile employees across channels to own the customer experience and resolve issues. Identify and hand‑off small business leads. Support team initiatives and foster an inclusive environment. Education and Work Experience High School Diploma/GED (Required) 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, preferably in retail. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Passionate customer advocate who enjoys connecting with customers (Required). Competitive drive and proven ability to succeed in a fast‑paced sales environment (Required). Willingness to work alongside peers and store leaders, sharing ideas and providing resolutions (Required). Ability to balance customer needs with performance goals (Required). Licenses and Certifications At least 18 years of age. Legally authorized to work in the United States. Travel Travel Required (Yes/No): No DOT Regulated DOT Regulated Position (Yes/No): No Safety Sensitive Position Safety Sensitive Position (Yes/No): No Hours & Pay Hourly Base Pay: $17.50, plus $5.00 per hour training pay. Within the first 90 days, Mobile Associates receive on‑the‑job training and are eligible for training pay. After training, promotion to Mobile Expert provides an annualized incentive target of $18,000/year. All employees are guaranteed to earn at least $20/hour inclusive of base and incentives. Eligible employees also receive an annual stock grant.
