Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Technologist/Clinical Lab Scientist to perform clinical laboratory testing, analyze samples, and ensure accurate and timely results. This role supports diagnostic processes and maintains quality standards within the laboratory.

Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of complex laboratory tests on patient samples in accordance with established protocols.
• Ensure proper calibration, maintenance, and operation of laboratory equipment.
• Document and interpret test results accurately, reporting any discrepancies or errors.
• Maintain compliance with all safety, quality assurance, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with medical staff to provide timely support for diagnostic decisions.
• Keep detailed records of testing procedures, quality controls, and equipment logs.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current WV or Compact license; pending licenses accepted for submission.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of clinical laboratory experience in a comparable environment.
• Be certified in BLS, ACLS, and PALS through the American Heart Association.
• Demonstrate proficiency in using CERNER or similar charting systems.
• Be able to provide at least two manager or charge nurse references from the past two years.
• Have a permanent address more than 100 miles from the facility, or be considered case-by-case if between 75-100 miles.
