The location in Glenwood, (Arkansas, United States), is seeking talent to fill the position of Forklift Operator . This job is full-time permanent. RESPONSIBILITIES Operate powered industrial trucks to load and unload materials and deliveries and move them to and from storage areas, machines and loading docks, into trucks or storage facilities. Obtain a copy of production schedule or shipping order and transport material or equipment to and from designated areas in the facility. Loading and unloading goods from vehicles such as trucks. Move goods packed on pallets or in crates along with parent rolls with clamp trucks around the storage facility. Stack goods in the correct storage bays, following inventory control instructions. Check that loads are secure. Stack empty pallets. Perform daily equipment checks, including safety inspections and lubricating fork trucks. Remove machine attachments and waste material from machines. Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards. Dump materials into machine hoppers. Perform other duties as assigned. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Basic math, language, and reading skills; basic computer skills may be required. High degree of attention required to prevent damage or injury to others; promote a safe work environment. Follow instructions for operating equipment and keeping records. Execute assignments accurately, timely, and safely. May be required to use an RF scanner gun. Clean driving record and a valid state motor vehicle operator’s license required. Physical demands and abilities: frequently lift up to 50 pounds and adjust body position to bend, stoop, stand, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for long periods of time. Have a good sense of balance, eye-hand-foot coordination. Assess weights, judge distances and heights. Work in varying temperatures, depending upon season.
