Role Summary PMO Senior Operations Manager to support delivery excellence for Transcend, a global transformation program focused on standardizing ways of working and consolidating seven ERP systems into one S/4 HANA platform for the Innovative Medicine business. Location: Beerse, Belgium with alternative locations to be considered in Aug Switzerland; Dublin, Ireland; Latina, Italy; Lisbon, Portugal; Madrid, Spain; Toronto, Canada; Milano, Italy; Sao Paulo, Brazil; and Titusville, NJ. A pre-identified candidate has been identified; all applications will be considered. Responsibilities PMO Operations Coordination and Governance: lead PMO operations across program phases with effective governance, clear communication, and high-quality inputs for decision forums. Drive integrated planning across multiple releases; manage RAID and change control for proactive issue resolution and focused execution. Supervise schedule management with data-driven tracking against the integrated program plan. Handle scope governance; ensure changes are evaluated, documented, and aligned with program objectives and stakeholder expectations. Deliver consistent, transparent status reporting across governance levels with actionable insights for decision-making. Champion predictive delivery practices to identify risks and opportunities early for timely intervention. Ensure PMO operations align with compliance and quality standards; embed a strong risk management culture. Supervise deliverables tracking and governance across releases to maintain program integrity and delivery confidence. Resource and Team Leadership: lead and develop a diverse PMO operations team, including Deployment Leads and offshore resources; coach and mentor to build capability and accountability. Partner with Global Program Managers and PMO leadership to align priorities and strengthen cross-team communication. Build relationships across geographically dispersed teams to enable collaboration and continuous improvement; serve as escalation point for PMO issues. Continuous Improvement and Operational Support: align deployment activities with program objectives; provide updates on PMO performance, risks, and improvement opportunities. Drive a culture of continuous improvement using data and insights to enhance processes, tools, and team capabilities. Qualifications Education: Minimum bachelor’s in business administration, Engineering or related field required. Advanced degree or MBA preferred. Experience: Minimum 8 years in program or project management; 7+ years including PMO in large, global transformation programs, ideally ERP implementations. Proven track record leading PMO operations teams; cross-functional and geographically dispersed resources. Skills: Delivery governance, RAID management, schedule and scope control, status reporting, risk management; data-driven decision-making; leadership in matrix environments; collaboration and communication across teams; knowledge of compliance and quality standards; experience with PM tools and Agile/Waterfall methodologies.
