Experienced Healthcare Lawyer

Lengea Law is a growing law firm focused on the legal and regulatory needs of healthcare entrepreneurs around the country. We represent medspas, telehealth companies, wellness practices, dental practices, medical practices, and other healthcare businesses navigating the intersection of business, healthcare, and regulatory law.

We are looking for a Mid-Level to Senior Associate Attorney who is confident working independently, enjoys moving fast and solving complex business and legal problems, and wants to be part of a modern law firm that is actively building better ways to deliver legal services.

This attorney will work closely with our partners, associates, and clients on a broad range of healthcare, business, transactional, and regulatory matters. The ideal candidate has meaningful law firm experience and is comfortable taking ownership of matters from initial analysis through completion.

A background in healthcare compliance, healthcare transactions, corporate/business law, or regulated industries is strongly preferred. We are also interested in attorneys with strong general business and transactional experience who are excited to develop deeper expertise in healthcare law.

• Advise healthcare businesses and entrepreneurs on business, regulatory, and transactional matters
• Draft and review agreements, corporate documents, MSAs, employment-related agreements, policies, and other legal documents
• Assist with healthcare transactions, corporate structuring, and entity-related matters
• Analyze healthcare regulatory and compliance questions and provide practical, business-focused legal guidance
• Work directly with clients and develop trusted advisor relationships
• Conduct legal research and translate complex legal requirements into clear recommendations
• Manage multiple matters and deadlines with a high degree of ownership
• Collaborate with partners, associates, legal support staff, and operations
• Identify potential legal or operational issues before they become problems
• Contribute to the development and improvement of firm processes, templates, playbooks, and knowledge resources
• Utilize technology and AI tools to improve efficiency and quality of legal work
  

• 5+ years of full time law firm experience
• Active license in New York, Texas, Florida, or California, plus at least one additional state
• Strong legal research, writing, drafting, and analytical skills
• Experience managing matters with significant independence
• Healthcare compliance and/or healthcare transactional experience strongly preferred
• Strong general business, corporate, or transactional experience will also be considered
• Excellent client communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
• Comfortable working in a fully remote and technology-driven environment
• Practical, solutions-oriented approach to legal advice
• Ability to work collaboratively while taking ownership of assigned matters

The right person is more than someone who can produce technically correct legal work. We are looking for an attorney who understands why the client is asking the question, what the business is trying to accomplish, and how to provide practical legal guidance that moves the client forward.

You should be comfortable in a fast-moving environment, willing to ask questions, able to work independently, and interested in helping build the next version of a modern law firm.
