Visual Merchandising Coordinator

Overview Kravet, Inc., one of the leading international fabric and fine furnishings companies, is currently looking for a Visual Merchandising Coordinator to join our Corporate Showroom Merchandising Department in New York City. The Department seeks a self-motivated, highly organized individual for this position. Responsibilities Placing and tracking showroom sample orders for furniture, fabric, casegoods and accessories on our internal ordering system Follow up with manufacturers regarding orders and production time Coordinating freight/transport of showroom sample furniture, casegoods, rugs and accessories Overseeing deliveries to regional receiving warehouses and showrooms Working with a variety of vendors, sources and variables to meet installation deadlines Managing records of projects past & present Maintaining inventories The preferred candidate should have computer proficiency including Microsoft Excel and Word, and should be extremely organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. In addition, strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary. Additional Requirements 2+ years of experience in an administrative role Ability to manage and meet deadlines Detail oriented Ability to manage records and inventories Ability to work independently and with a team Experience in the fabric, furniture and/or interior design industry is a plus About Kravet Inc.
