Role Summary Our team places permanent professionals and executives across various industries, specializing in helping European companies build and expand their operations in North America. At OERTZENGroup, you will find a high-impact, autonomous role where you drive executive search initiatives from strategic inception to close. As an Executive Recruiter you will have full end-to-end ownership of your search projects—managing client discovery, market research, candidate outreach, interviews, and offer negotiations independently. Key Responsibilities Project & Search Autonomy End-to-End Ownership: Independently manage the complete recruitment life cycle for executive search projects from intake through placement. Discovery & Project Design: Conduct discovery sessions with clients to define assignment requirements, formulate search strategies, and design custom job profiles and targeted interview criteria. Research & Sourcing Strategy: Manage targeted sourcing strategies, candidate mapping, and talent pipeline construction across specialized industry channels. Assessment & Selection: Conduct rigorous executive interviews, evaluate candidate credentials against client requisites, and present qualified shortlists in a timely manner. Negotiation & Closing: Manage candidate expectations, facilitate offer discussions, and negotiate closures independently. Accounts & Relationship Management Client Engagement: Proactively identify, approach, and consult with corporate prospects through strategic networking, membership registers, referrals, and industry events. Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as a trusted advisor to clients on compensation benchmarks, qualifications, and the nuances of doing business as a European company in North America. Account Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, gathering feedback to continuously refine delivery quality. Pipeline Management: Maintain structured ATS records to build opportunity funnels and track engagement. Conduct market research on compensation trends, candidate availability, and industry shifts. Collaborate with the Operations Excellence Director to optimize search workflows and introduce process efficiencies. Occasional travel (10-15%) for client visits, industry events, and team initiatives. Qualifications & Skills Autonomous Execution: Proven track record of managing recruitment or executive search projects from start to finish with minimal supervision. Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in agency executive search, high-volume recruitment, corporate talent acquisition, or professional sales. International Mindset and Languages: Comfort working with cross-border clients and intercultural management teams. Must speak a second language fluently, preferably German. Communication & Decision-Making: Exceptional verbal, written, and consultative skills with sound business judgment. Drive & Accountability: A self-starter attitude with high integrity, strong project management discipline, and a desire to progress into a team leadership role.
