Position Overview

The Project Manager – Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) is responsible for managing the successful execution of DAS projects from project kickoff through installation, testing, commissioning, and closeout. This position will serve as a key point of coordination between customers, project management, engineering, field technicians, vendors, subcontractors, and other trades to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, within budget, and according to project specifications.

The ideal candidate will have strong project management experience combined with a solid technical understanding of commercial DAS and wireless infrastructure. The candidate should be comfortable working in the field, coordinating installation activities, reviewing technical documentation, communicating with customers and contractors, and identifying and resolving project issues. Experience with structured cabling, low-voltage infrastructure, or related telecommunications systems is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Manage DAS projects from project kickoff and mobilization through installation, testing, commissioning, and final closeout.
• Serve as the primary point of coordination between customers, internal project teams, engineers, field technicians, vendors, subcontractors, and other trades.
• Review DAS drawings, system designs, equipment schedules, specifications, scope of work, and installation requirements throughout project execution.
• Coordinate project schedules, manpower, equipment, materials, deliveries, subcontractors, and site activities to maintain project timelines.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress, installation quality, safety, and compliance with project requirements.
• Coordinate DAS installation activities, including cabling, antennas, remote units, head-end equipment, RF distribution, and related infrastructure.
• Monitor daily field progress and proactively identify schedule, technical, material, labor, or site-related issues that could affect project completion.
• Provide technical direction and support to field technicians and subcontractors as needed.
• Coordinate with engineering teams to resolve drawing discrepancies, RFIs, field conditions, design changes, and technical issues.
• Review and interpret DAS designs, floor plans, riser diagrams, schematics, equipment layouts, cable schedules, and other project documentation.
• Coordinate with general contractors, electrical contractors, low-voltage contractors, and other trades to ensure proper integration of DAS infrastructure within the overall project.
• Coordinate system testing, commissioning, optimization, and final acceptance activities.
• Assist with troubleshooting DAS infrastructure, cabling, RF distribution, antennas, head-end equipment, and related system components.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, meeting notes, RFIs, change documentation, punch lists, as-built information, and closeout materials.
• Track project milestones, budgets, labor, materials, and outstanding work and provide regular updates to internal leadership and customers.
• Identify project risks and proactively develop and communicate solutions to maintain project schedule, quality, and profitability.
• Manage project changes and assist with scope development, change orders, and associated documentation.
• Participate in project meetings with customers, general contractors, consultants, vendors, and internal teams.
• Maintain clear and professional communication with customers and project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate final punch-list completion and ensure all outstanding installation, technical, and documentation requirements are resolved prior to project turnover.
• Assist with customer training, system demonstrations, documentation, and final project handoff.
• Support multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining appropriate attention to schedules, budgets, quality, and customer expectations.
• Perform additional duties as needed to support project and field operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience managing Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS), wireless infrastructure, telecommunications, low-voltage, or related technology projects.
• Strong understanding of commercial DAS systems, components, installation practices, and project execution.
• Experience coordinating DAS installation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and system integration.
• Ability to read and interpret DAS drawings, RF designs, floor plans, riser diagrams, schematics, cable schedules, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Experience coordinating technicians, subcontractors, vendors, general contractors, and other trades.
• Experience with structured cabling, telecommunications, or other low-voltage systems is a strong plus.
• Strong understanding of low-voltage cabling infrastructure and installation practices is preferred.
• Strong project management, organizational, scheduling, and time-management skills.
• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to manage project schedules, budgets, materials, manpower, and deliverables.
• Experience managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
• Experience with CRM, ERP, project management, or field service systems; ConnectWise experience is a strong plus.
• Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with project teams, customers, contractors, and field personnel.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Willingness and ability to travel to customer and project sites as required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Salary: $90,000.00–$110,000.00 per year

Job Type: Full-time, In-Person
