This position involves providing high-quality care to patients in a progressive care unit setting. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills and the ability to handle complex patient needs. Shift Details Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30) Key Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients with neurological conditions. Monitor and assess patient condition, recognizing changes in status and intervening as necessary. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement individualized care plans. Administer medications and manage patient treatments according to established protocols. Educate patients and families on health management and care plans. Qualifications A minimum of 12 months of permanent nursing experience in a stepdown or progressive care setting is required. Current, valid Ohio nursing license or compact state license is required. Certifications: AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required. Experience in PCU/Progressive Care is preferred but not mandatory. Additional Information Travelers must work at least every other holiday.
