MDS Coordinator - Registered Nurse - RN Qualifications: Experience as an MDS nurse. AANAC certification (or willing to be certified within 6 months) and knowledge and trained in the following: Medicare, Medicaid, and Managed Care Reimbursement PPS and OBRA Scheduling CAA and Care Planning Process Billing knowledge (Diagnosis Codes, UBO4, etc.) QAA and QAPI Process Nursing Clinical Assessment Point Click Care Skilled Nursing Facility Regulations and Compliance: Care WATCH, Infection WATCH and Risk WATCH MDS Coordinator - Registered Nurse - RN Job Summary: Oversee all aspects of the Medicare, Medicaid, and Managed Care Programs. Maintain financial policies and procedures and direct staff in managing Medicare and Medicaid Cost reports. Oversee the resident assessment team to ensure timely and accurate submission of assessments. Collaborate with the Administrator and Director of Nursing, as well as to work with other department heads.
