About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President, Quality Engineering to lead the transformation of its quality engineering organization. The successful candidate will be tasked with defining and driving a global vision that shifts the focus from traditional software quality assurance to a highly automated, proactive engineering discipline. This role is pivotal in scaling high-performing teams, accelerating product delivery, and embedding robust reliability measures across the enterprise. The VP will be responsible for spearheading the adoption of advanced automation practices, including AI integration, and will work closely with engineering and product leaders to ensure the seamless integration of automated quality barriers into cloud-native continuous integration and deployment workflows. Candidates for the VP, Quality Engineering position at the company should have a proven track record in leading large-scale quality engineering or software development organizations within cloud-native, enterprise SaaS ecosystems. The role requires expertise in designing modern automation frameworks, continuous testing infrastructure, and data-driven quality systems at scale. The ideal candidate will have the ability to break down technology transformations into actionable milestones, establish clear ownership, and drive major organizational change. Strong communication skills, the ability to make transparent technical decisions, and a talent for fostering a culture of excellence are essential. Experience in building and leveraging a global network to deliver reliable platform improvements and a high level of self-awareness to adapt leadership behaviors are also key qualities for this role.
