Veterinarian Position

We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate veterinarian to join our team at Bloomsburg Veterinary Hospital. The ideal candidate will be proficient in diagnosing and treating various medical conditions in canines and felines and possess excellent communication skills to educate pet owners about their pets' health.
Responsibilities include conducting thorough physical examinations and medical consultations for dogs and cats, diagnosing and treating medical conditions, injuries, and illnesses in canines and felines in accordance with established protocols, performing surgical procedures, developing and implementing treatment plans tailored to the specific needs of canine and feline patients, communicating effectively with pet owners to explain diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive care measures, collaborating with the veterinary team to ensure the highest standard of care for all canine and feline patients, and staying updated on industry advancements, participating in continuing education, and sharing knowledge with the team.
Qualifications include a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree, a state veterinary license in good standing, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
