Job Description
Title
Respiratory Therapist - Respiratory Care

Schedule
36 hours/week
Every other weekend

Assignment Details
Guaranteed Hours: 36/week

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- NICU and/or PICU experience (hard requirement)
- Certifications: BCLS, RRT
- Emergency Department experience preferred
- Experience in Level I trauma facility preferred
- Clinical skills in pediatric critical care and mechanical ventilation management

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care to pediatric patients, including neonates and adolescents.
- Manage mechanical ventilation and non-invasive ventilation techniques.
- Perform intubation assistance and interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs).
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient care.
- Educate families regarding respiratory care needs.

Compliance / Notes
- Orientation: 36 hours
- Pre-approved time off: 2 requests per contract
- Compliance deadline: 3pm CST on the Monday before start date
