Family Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant Overview: Deliver high-quality health care within Fast Pace Health’s scope of services, achieving optimum patient satisfaction in clinic and virtual settings. Work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, adapt quickly to new technologies, and respond accurately to changes in patient condition or treatment response. Provide outstanding patient service, maintaining a compassionate and welcoming atmosphere. Responsibilities Provide quality care in both clinic and telehealth; meet patient volume goals for telehealth and in‑patient care. Lead clinic staff – model behaviors, actions, and attitudes for X‑ray technologists, nurses, and front‑office specialists – to deliver excellent patient care. Perform duties outlined in the SCRIBE job description. Collect and review patient histories, symptoms, allergies, and current medications; ask situation‑specific questions to formulate accurate diagnoses. Engage with clinical leadership; elevate concerns to management promptly to ensure high‑quality patient care and resolution of issues. Ensure timely and accurate completion of patient charts; forward charts as appropriate on a daily basis. Implement clinical and telehealth protocols as outlined by the CMO and supervising physicians. Analyze and interpret patient histories, symptoms, physical findings, and diagnostic information to develop appropriate diagnoses. Deliver diagnostic and therapeutic recommendations for virtual and in‑patient care with patient‑centric focus, safety, cost, and accuracy. Comply with federal and state regulations, guidelines, and requirements, including HIPAA and all health information management issues. Work efficiently in a fast‑paced, autonomous environment across both in‑patient clinic and virtual settings. Maintain patient queue for telehealth in a timely fashion to ensure proper follow‑up. Order, perform, or interpret diagnostic test results; responsibly prescribe medications and educate patients on treatment and chronic condition care. Follow clinical practice guidelines from the Office of Medical Affairs. Attend mandatory monthly meetings with supervising physicians and E/M training sessions. Adhere to standard NP/PA protocols and maintain compliance by completing all mandatory compliance training. Promote and maintain a respectful culture of confidentiality and compliance with company standards. Recommend ideas to improve clinic and telehealth patient experience and care. Communicate regularly across the team to support excellent patient care. Welcome new employees; facilitate introductions, clinic tours, and overview of processes. Assist new employees with learning activities, required training, and provide job shadowing, demonstration, and coaching. Actively engage patients via virtual communication channels; proven experience as a telehealth clinician. Perform additional duties as assigned by management. PRN employees: minimum 4 shifts per month; full‑time employees: 12‑hour shifts and every other weekend. Ancillary providers: on‑call periodically throughout the year. Qualifications & Experience Education: Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) and/or Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies (MMS). Experience: Minimum 1–2 years as a provider in a relevant practice (urgent care, occupational medical facility, ER, trauma unit, family medical practice). License/Certification: Active Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license; active DEA; DOT certification required within 120 days of employment for full‑time and part‑time providers. Providers must be able to treat all ages and meet credentialing requirements. Provider Level Requirements: Level 1: New grad with up to 1 year experience. Level 2: 1–5 years of experience. Level 3: 5–10 years of experience. Level 4: Over 10 years of experience. Additional Requirements Must be knowledgeable and comply with company standards of operation, HIPAA, and all health information management issues. Must be able to consult patients via virtual communication channels and have an understanding of confidentiality.
