How you'll make an impact in this role

• Champion Clinical Outcomes: Provide strong, visible leadership to ensure the seamless implementation of clinical objectives, always prioritizing high-quality, population-appropriate patient care in your assigned area.

• Elevate Care Standards: Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of patient care delivery, proactively identifying and addressing any systemic or individual issues that could impact desired patient outcomes.

• Resolve with Compassion: Act as the key resource for patient care concerns, responding to and managing complaints with professionalism and empathy through established organizational channels.

• Operational Coordination: Supervise and coordinate unit staffing, assigning daily patient care needs and strategically distributing assignments to ensure optimal coverage and efficient workflow during your shift.

• Empower and Develop: Directly assign, direct, educate, and actively monitor the performance of nursing and support staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and accountability.

• Contribute to Talent: Play an integral role in the growth and development of your team, which includes contributing to or conducting performance evaluations, and providing valuable input for hiring, training, and development initiatives.

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted, required.

• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing, required.

• Licensed Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date, required.

Education:

• Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experiencerequired.
