Non-Teaching Adjunct, Level 4 – Finance and Budget Analysis Non-Teaching Adjunct, Level 4 position in the Business Office of the Graduate Center of CUNY. General Duties Completes non-teaching projects or complex work in support of a Campus or University administrative or academic department. This work is generally of a temporary nature and requires specialized experience or expertise. Duties include but are not limited to: Prepare Cash/treasury entries in PeopleSoft. Analyze data and prepare journal entries for reclassifications, accruals, etc. Record payments from third party vendors. Calculate, analyze, transfer, and record student related fees. Assist Associate Budget Director with preparing budget transfers and journals. Collaborate with Academic Affairs, Budget Office and Accounting Office to reconcile Income Fund Reimbursable (IFR) accounts and prepare journal entries as required. Prepare expense reconciliations as part of the semi-annual close process. Analyze and review umbrella accounts and ensure timely recording of reclassifications. Analyze balance sheet accounts, ensure prior year balances are reclassified timely. Assist with year‑end audit, including preparation of financial statements, notes, MDA and supporting schedules. Prepare ad hoc analyses. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree required. Preferred Qualifications 4 years of relevant experience. Solid budget experience. Advanced Excel skills (V-lookups, pivot tables, advanced formulas). Excellent writing skills. Strong analytical ability. Advanced degree or CPA. PeopleSoft experience. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship will not be offered for this position. Compensation $63.55/hr–$71.25/hr (Hourly rate increases to $65.78/hr–$73.75/hr as of 9/1/26 per the PSC contract).
