Salary Range: $90-120,000 with overtime availability

Specific Responsibilities of the Manufacturing Engineer Job in Long Island, NY:

• Develop Bill of Materials
• Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods.
• Prepare estimates of production times, labor requirements, equipment, materials and related costs to provide information for management decision.
• Use computer-aided design (CAD) software, preferably Catia V5, to create 3D models from 2D drawings and draw up manufacturing plans.
• Generate CAD drawings and product structures to accurately match and clearly communicate customer requirements.
• Develop design models & templates.
• Define manufacturing tolerances .
• Resolve problems utilizing acquired knowledge and analytical abilities.
• Support shop and subcontractors regarding engineering concerns.

Desire Experience of the Manufacturing Engineer Job in Long Island, NY:

• Minimum five (5) years manufacturing engineering experience from a related manufacturer
• Associate's Degree minimum with Bachelor's Degree, Engineering preferred
• Proficient with CAD software performing mechanical design, we use Catia V5
• Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing Techniques
• Proficient in MS Office
• ERP System experience, we use Epicor 10
• Excellent problem solving, multi-tasking, and communication skills
