FINANCE AND ADMIN

General Purpose Under direction, plan, supervise, and oversee airport facilities and airfield maintenance systems including runways, jet bridges, roadways, buildings, landscaping, irrigation, electrical, janitorial, and electronic operations. Typical Duties Plan, organize, develop and direct airport and airfield maintenance operations and systems. Provide guidance to subordinate supervisors and contract personnel covering runways, taxiways, public and non‑public roadways, buildings, landscaping, irrigation, electrical, electronic, and storm drainage systems. Develop and oversee preventative maintenance programs and contractual improvements. Coordinate response of assigned personnel to weather, aircraft, or other emergencies. Develop and implement facilities maintenance systems and programs, including HVAC, utilities, power, and electrical systems. Manage facility and system restoration following weather or equipment incidents and monitor restoration activities. Provide annual reviews of airport facilities, assess structural conditions, and identify repairs or improvements needed. Oversee janitorial staff and procedures, including specifying requirements, developing cleaning programs, and maintaining equipment. Inspect runways, ramps, taxiways, and perimeter for compliance with FAA, environmental, and safety regulations; notify management of unsafe conditions. Identify improvement opportunities in maintenance systems, establish work priorities, and manage operating and capital improvement budgets. Supervise daily work of assigned personnel, include training, performance appraisal, conflict resolution, and personnel decisions. Perform related duties as required, such as interpreting blueprints, reviewing bids, inspecting contract work, maintaining records, and responding to emergencies. Represent the airport in meetings and interactions with public officials, airline managers, tenants, regulatory agencies, and the public. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Engineering, Construction Management, Technology, Building Trades, or a related field. Minimum four (4) years of experience in facilities maintenance management or professional experience in construction, remodeling, and maintenance of buildings, grounds, and equipment.
