Position Overview

This position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) in a 12-hour Night Shift Float Pool. The candidate will be required to float between medical floors, stepdown/ICU, and surgical/oncology units.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of stepdown experience is required.
Previous travel experience is essential.
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are mandatory.
Experience in stepdown nursing is required, with ICU experience preferred.

Patient Ratios

The typical patient-to-nurse ratio will be 1:5 to 6, focusing primarily on stepdown patients rather than higher-acuity ICU patients.

Technology and Systems

The Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system utilized is Epic.

Location

Additional Information

This role requires flexibility and a willingness to float across various units as needed. All relevant demographic information must be provided during submission.
