Salary : $140,000.00 - $160,000.00 + STI [ 10% ] + LTI [ Stock ]

JOB SUMMARY
The Engineering Manager works closely with the Director of Engineering to define and implement
departmental strategies in support of the goals and objectives of the organization. The primary
responsibility of the Engineering Manager is to direct engineering resources and coordinate their activities
to achieve maximum efficiency and produce cost-effective, high quality products. The Engineering
Manager serves as the Chief Engineer, while leading and managing the day-to-day engineering operations
related to on-time processing of the Engineered-to-Order (ETO) sales orders, product maintenance &
enhancement, application of the ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code, and the achievement of assigned
WI's.
MANAGEMENT I SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain a positive and effective leadership role amongst subordinates through effective communication,
one-on-one meetings, defined roles & responsibilities, clear expectations, regular guidance and feedback,
and established priorities. The Engineering Manager shall.„

Consult with the Director of Engineering in all policy or procedural changes, as well as critical
customer-care decisions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Manage departmental workflow to achieve on-time delivery and KPI targets.
2. Maintain up-to-date project and sales order tracking systems.
3. Maintain overall responsibility for existing product maintenance, enhancement and testing in
response to the demands of the market as identified by Sales.

Manage approval and maintenance of all third-party listings (i.e. AHRI, etc.)

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
• A minimum of a BS in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering field.
• A minimum Of (IO) years manufacturing experience involving design and development Of heat
exchangers and/or related HVAC systems and components preferred.
• Three (3) years managerial experience. Registration as a Virginia PE is desirable.

Expert knowledge in the interpretation and application Of ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code
Sections Ill, Classes 1, 2, and 3 and Section VIII as related to Custom product design.
proficiency in the design of mechanical components and equipment assemblies.
Strong knowledge in Strength of Materials
Experience in the use of MRP systems. Preference for Made2Manage.
General SolidWorks and EPDM knowledge.
Able to interact cooperatively and professionally at all levels of the organization.
Proficiency in the use of computers for general business logistics.
Strong organizational skills capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Fluent at reading, speaking, and writing English, including technical vocabulary.
