Position Overview

HPA Healthcare is seeking a Hematology/Oncology Physician for a locum tenens assignment in Virginia.

This is a highly attractive outpatient Oncology opportunity offering a four-day workweek , manageable patient volume, strong permanent-provider support, and exceptionally light beeper call. The physician will typically work 8–10 hours per day depending on patient volume and see approximately 12–15 patients daily.

Call is limited to established patients and is described by the facility as very light , averaging approximately 2–5 calls per week and handled primarily by phone. No call-related patient visits or admissions are currently anticipated.

The facility prefers a physician interested in a consistent commitment and gives preference to candidates within driving distance. An apartment is available for the assignment.
