Job Description

Job title - Android AOSP Engineer
Location - Dearborn. MI (Onsite)
Salary $100K
Android AOSP APP & Framework developer
Good understanding of Android architecture Framework and Android HAL Layer (preferably Android-O or later)
Experience in Android code base - Application layer (Java) JNI Native frameworks(C) AOSP
Work experience in Android App Development (Content providers Receivers Android Framework/Managers etc.)
Good understanding of Android programming environment using Binders Shared memory IPC mechanisms etc.
Debugging skills to troubleshoot problems in any layer of Android
Good knowledge in Android Services/Framework layer and its debugging
Programming experience in Kotlin Java
Preferably development experience in Android Infotainment systems (AAOS) for e.g. Navigation Connectivity (WiFi BT) Projection (Android Auto Carplay) etc. otherwise work experience from Mobile or other Domains also ok but Android expertise a must
Preferably expertise in Vehicle Interface & knowledge on Infotainment systems
Preferably understanding of Automotive SoC architecture(application processor and Vehicle processor)
Tools: GIT & Gerrit JIRA Android source build system Android debugging tools
Android Automotive or Android Mobile or Android TV AOSP experience are accepted by customer
Preferably development experience in Android Infotainment systems (AAOS) for e.g. Navigation Connectivity (WiFi BT) Projection (Android Auto Carplay) etc. otherwise work experience from Mobile or other Domains also ok but Android expertise a must

Experience: 5-8 Years.

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60000 to $135000 .

Final compensation will depend on various factors including your geographical location minimum wage obligations skills and relevant experience.
