Dental Hygienist OpportunitySpectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential full-time opportunity for a dental hygienist at Naval Health Clinic Annapolis Dental Clinic in Annapolis, MD.Aspects of the practice include:Full-time employment opportunityMonday through FridayPaid time offFull benefitsJob requirements:Experience: Candidates shall have a minimum of twelve (12) months of specialized full-time clinical experience as a registered dental hygienist within the preceding thirty-six (36) months following graduation.Candidate must be highly proficient in oral prophylaxis; preliminary periodontal examinations (including diagnostic tests and radiographs); oral health education; preparing treatment plans for plaque control; applying topical fluorides and desensitizing agents; and planning, conducting, and evaluating preventive dental health programs.Hold a current, unrestricted license to practice as a dental hygienist in any one of the fifty states, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam or the U.S. Virgin Islands.Radiography: Must possess a current certification in dental radiography.Local anesthesia: The RDH must possess documented proof of advanced training and certification to administer local anesthesia, in accordance with the Local Anesthesia Administration by Dental Hygienists.Spectrum Healthcare Resources (SHR) was established in 1988 to deliver systems and processes designed to meet the unique needs of Military and VA Health Systems.
