Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts (6:15 AM – 4:45 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) setting at a 1:1 patient ratio, with approximately 6 visits per day across 3 rooms
• Operate and monitor advanced cardiac support devices including ECMO and Impella
• Participate in on-call rotation — expected 2 days per week and every 3rd weekend
• Float to the OR as needed
• Utilize facility systems including PYXIS, EPIC, and SBAR for medication management, documentation, and communication
• May be assigned to a Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team and expected to report during catastrophic events, mass casualty incidents, or disasters

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in North Carolina or a Compact state (pending license acceptable for submission)
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience required
• ECMO and Impella experience required
• Candidates must be open to floating within or near the facility as needed
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are subject to a local rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification preferred
• First-time travelers with qualifying CVOR experience are welcome to apply
