Digital Media Specialist

Overview Creates and manages content that supports enrollment, student engagement, alumni relations, philanthropy, and college marketing and communication goals across web, social, email, and print platforms. Responsibilities Develop written, visual, and digital content for target audiences. Write and edit content highlighting students, faculty, staff, alumni and donors. Manage assigned social media channels and content calendars. Create short-form video and digital content for recruitment and engagement. Develop content for the website aligned with the College’s marketing strategy. Support SEO and GEO content optimization efforts. Conduct content audits and recommend website improvements. Develop content for email campaigns and digital marketing initiatives. Monitor content performance and engagement metrics. Build strong relationships across campus to identify needs, align messaging, and create impactful communications. Assist with event support, photography, and asset collection as needed. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field. Relevant internship, student media, freelance, or professional experience in content creation, communications, marketing, or social media. Preferred Qualifications Effective writing and editing skills. Social media management experience. Short-form video production skills. Knowledge of digital content best practices. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
