Based in New York, the ideal candidate will:Support new asset-based deal opportunities with an analysis of capital structure, borrowing base, credit profile, market comparables, and industry researchDevelop targeted prospecting lists; join Senior Transactors in client and prospect meetings to develop and sustain enduring relationshipsAssist in the creation of pitch materials; screen opportunities; propose appropriate structures; work alongside Underwriting to green light transactions; draft and negotiate term sheets with clients (interfacing with legal counsel); work with underwriting partners to help shepherd internal approvals; negotiate legal documentation and manage an efficient closing processInterface with banker coverage and other partners to coordinate execution of transactions and to effectively meet deal timelinesExhibit business and credit judgment as well as to provide balanced assessments in working with internal team members and partnersMaintain a strong attention to detail and complete work in assigned timeframes.Requirements:A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Asset Based FinanceBachelor’s degreeSkills:Strong financial, analytic, and credit skillsExperience in working with complex capital structuresTeam player, able to facilitate strong partnershipsExcellent written and presentation skills------------------------------------------------------Job Family Group: Commercial and Business Sales------------------------------------------------------Job Family:Commercial Product Sales------------------------------------------------------Time Type:Full time------------------------------------------------------Primary Location:New York New York United States------------------------------------------------------Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:$109,120.00 - $163,680.00In addition to salary, Citi’s offerings may also include, for eligible employees, discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
