Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Semi Trailer Technician to join our team in Irving, TX. If you have a passion for working with heavy-duty vehicles and possess a keen eye for detail, this is the perfect opportunity for you! In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of semi trailers, ensuring they are safe and road-ready. Join us in providing top-notch service to our clients and keeping their fleets in optimal condition.
Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on semi trailers, including brakes, suspension, and electrical systems.
- Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Inspect trailers for safety compliance and recommend necessary repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and new technologies.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients regarding repairs and maintenance needs.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in automotive or diesel mechanics preferred.
- Proven experience as a semi trailer technician or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of trailer systems, including air brakes, electrical systems, and chassis components.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
